Over 300 UK private equity investors and experts convened at the prestigious Landmark Hotel in central London. They discussed a range of topics fundamental to the future of mid-market investing in the UK. Humatica, as one of a selected few sponsors, contributed to the dialogue on successful investing in the sector. Participants agreed that culture and management effectiveness will play a more important role in generating superior financial returns in the future. Oddly, they also agreed that the focus of effort during due diligence and deal making is however currently on other areas like market and financial due diligence, rather than understanding the way that the organisation works. Participants agreed that this focus will shift further in the future.
